Indices of lazer doppler flowmetry in assessment of microcirculation by treatment of onychomycosis
Abstract
Clinical and mycological studies of 49 patients with onychomycosis of various localization have been conducted. The purpose of study was to examine the efficiency of onychomycosis treatment using the assessment of microcirculation according to laser doppler flowmetry. It is shown that 57.1% of patients with onychomycosis without apparent vascular pathology have microcirculatory disorders of spastic type (44.9%), congestive-stasic type (10.2%), rarely (2%) - hyperemic type. Microcirculatory disorders occur during long-term existence of a fungal infection, and in the majority of patients with lesions of 2 or more nail plates combined with feet mycosis. Index of microcirculation improves after the completion of standard treatment of onychomycosis, but does not reach the standard index.
