Pregnancy, delivery and perinatal peculiarities of women with multiple pregnancies in the structure of tertiary-level obstetric hospitalization

Abstract

Retrospective analysis of pregnancy, delivery, and perinatal outcomes in 1,535 women who gave birth in 2016, was performed at the stationary of the tertiary — level at the Vinnytsia Regional Perinatal Center. Among them 52 women had multiple pregnancies. The analysis showed that the pregnancy and delivery in women with multiple pregnancies tend to have complicated character, for example high-risk newborns belonging to the group with complications associated with preterm delivery (neonatal jaundice, anemia, respiratory disturbances, etc.).
