Abstract

Initial stage of chronic renal failure (CRF) is asymptomatic, and therefore its early diagnosis often causes some difficulties. Early diagnosis of CKD is based primarily on biochemical methods. Determination of GFR and blood concentration of cystatin C is essential in diagnostics of early stages of CKI.
