Abstract

Cancer of the larynx in male is one of the most common cancers in otolaryngology, which is diagnosed in more than 50% of patients in stage III-IV, in which indicated complete removal of the larynx. In the article the research results of the hypopharynx after laryngectomy, research methods of the hypopharynx, communications operative technique with swallowing disorders and related quality of life and social integration laryngectomied male.
