The objective was to study in the experiment features of anti-inflammatory action of viable cryopreserved human amniotic membrane on the model of bacterial keratitis using different surgical techniques. Transplantation of viable cryopreserved amniotic membrane was performed in 30 Chinchilla rabbits on the developed model of bacterial keratitis using inlay technique. In one month after transplantation in several rabbits corneal edema infiltration and vascularization were found. At the same depth of the corneal destruction by bacterial infectious process biological covering technique should be preferred as less traumatic surgical intervention, which is accompanied by a lower inflammatory response.
