Despite the large number of methods for endoscopic hemostasis and experience of their using, there are no clear guidelines to date on choosing the optimal method of hemostasis in case of bleeding due to Mallory-Weiss syndrome. The most commonly used endoscopic treatment of active bleeding in Mallory-Weiss syndrome are injection therapy, contact thermocoagulation, argon-plasma coagulation, clipping and ligation with latex rings. The most effective methods of endoscopic hemostasis in Mallory – Weiss syndrome are ligation with latex rings, clipping and argon-plasma coagulation. The method of endoscopic hemostasis requires a differentiated approach depending on the characteristics of the source of bleeding and hemostatic features of the method. A more thorough and deep study of the problem is needed to develop clear criteria for the use of endoscopic hemostasis with maximum efficiency.</p>}, number={1(1)}, journal={Reports of Vinnytsia National Medical University}, author={Shaprynskiy, V.O. and Dzoba, A.I.}, year={2017}, month={Sep.}, pages={56-61} }
