Abstract

The analysis of laparoscopic surgeries in 8,245 patients with urgent and plan surgical pathology was conducted and indications for the conversion were established. The iatrogenic injuries of the common bile tract and their connection with the Mirrizzi syndrome were also analyzed. Timely transition to the conversion is an extremely important aspect of preventing bile tract injury in technically difficult cases. Recovery of bile outflow can be achieved only when the operating crew includes a highly experienced specialist who knows a variety of restoration methods and reconstruction operations.
