Laparoscopic appendectomy during pregnancy: opportunities and results

In research work represented results of diagnostic and treatment possibilities of laparoscopy in acute appendicitis in pregnant women and effect of increased intraabdominal pressure due to СО2-peritoneum on the state of the uterus and the fetus. Diagnostic laparoscopy allowed to exclude the diagnosis of acute appendicitis in 6 (7,5%) cases and in 3 (3,7%) diagnosed abdominal pathology that warned perform needless appendectomies. Furthermore, the use of videoendoscopic technologies in acute appendicitis led to a decrease of disorders from the fetus and the uterus, and incidence of postoperative complications.
