Abstract

According to studies, the frequency of cholelithiasis complicated by choledocholithiasis is 8,7-29,4 %. "The gold standard" in the treatment of cholelithiasis complicated by choledocholithiasis, is a two-step approach, including endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, sphincterotomy and removal of stones, than - subsequent laparoscopic cholecystectomy. However, the disadvantages of endoscopic transpapillary stage of treatment of cholelithiasis complicated by CL necessitated the search for alternative, less traumatic and more effective approaches for treating this disease. The study compared the results of treatment of patients with cholelithiasis complicated by CL, using the combined method of simultaneous implementation of LCE in conjunction with intraoperative stone removal with using the traditional two-step method. Based on the research results it was proved that the implementation of one-stage method of surgical treatment of choledocholithiasis leads to health outcome improving, reduces the recovery and rehabilitation period for patients, reduces the frequency of complications.
