Abstract

Different requirements for anesthetic composition for EVLA compared to the compositions for liposuction. In this study we evaluated safety and effectiveness of original tumescent anesthesia solution on the basis of articaine. In 182 (83,5%) interventions in 157 (83,1%) patients Klein solution have been used. In 36 (16,5%) cases, in 32 (16,9%) patients original composition for tumescent anesthesia have been used. The average amount of anesthetic administered to a patient in the course of the intervention was 366±92 ml (p<0,05) in Klein's solution group and 540±167 mL (p<0,001) in the proposed drug formulation group. Thus, the use of improved medicinal composition allowed to not limit EVLA's volume during one operation. The use of author's medicinal composition provides advantages over conventional Klein solution.
