The role of ultrasound duplex angioscanning in the diagnosis of varicose veins of the lower extremities

Abstract

The results of ultrasound duplex angioscanning of the venous system of the lower limbs of 185 patients with varicose veins C2-4 (classification CEAP) are presented in this article. Obtained and analyzed data on the presence of varicose veins changes in the lower extremities, as well as the duration and extent of veno-venous reflux and presence of venous transformation. The basic relationships between the studied parameters were defined. It was marked advantages of duplex ultrasound angioscanning in the diagnosis of varicose veins of the lower extremities.
