Abstract

The article deals with the problem of psychoemotional and vegetative state changes in patients before elective gynecological surgery and limitations for correction of these changes. We drew a conclusion about clinical effectiveness of the proposed method of premedication (buspirone at a dose of 5 mg in the evening before the operation and for 60 minutes before it), which significantly reduce the emotional response of patients to a stressful situation.
