Abstract

Over the last decade, management of acute pancreatitis has changed significantly. Nowadays, a lot of minimally invasive techniques has been implemented to acute pancreatitis management. Purpose of our study was to define role, indications, contraindications and technique of laparoscopic and video-assisted retroperitoneal debridement. The date from PubMed, EMBASE and Cochrane trials register from 2006 to 2016 were analyzed. Also we described our own minimally invasive methods of acute pancreatitis treatment, such as video-assisted retroperitoneal debridement, laparoscopic debridement and combined laparoscopic and retroperitoneoscopic assisted necrosectomy.
